Seeing this view for the first time was quite extraordinary. Looking up at an ancient bristlecone pine that has been standing for thousands of years, and then seeing the milky way beside it as if they were working together in perfect harmony. I would easily give up great light for views like this. Not another soul or sound around while I stood here alone just admiring this tree and the skies above.
