I finally made it out to this vantage point. It's not easy...though you can SEE where you want to go, it's not easy...and fear of being crushed in the rocks by the tide is always present. I've tried probably 25 times to get out to this spot over the past 5 years, and each time was too frightened to make any attempt at wading around the point. This past summer my 3rd attempt was timed (by accident) to line up with a lower tide...and a secret cave was revealed (I'm totally serious) and I went through the portal and ended up in position to climb the rocks and finally set foot on this pristine beach. I'd say this beach probably sees less than 50 people all year long. It was SO awesome, and if I could've put away my fear of being trapped on it forever by the tide I probably would've had a nice time sitting there, enjoying the view...but instead I ran around like a freak trying to shoot every vantage point I could and make it out before the tide trapped me there.
