St. Helens is heavily scarred by the lava/mud flows from 34 years ago but signs of rebirth are all around.The tenacity of nature will always impress me. I was a bit worried by the cloudy conditions but the sun was able to peak through the clouds just enough to light up the peak with some very filtered and faded sunlight.
