Maine is a land of lakes, with many thousands of lakes. Annabessacook Lake is one, situated near the town of Winthrop. At night, the distinctive call of loons can be heard echoing off the silent water, and the night stillness is also punctuated by the croak of the occasional frog. Due to making some modifications and accidental deletions, I'm re-uploading some photos.
