VIEW ON BLACK! I went to Mono Lake for the first time this past weekend and could not believe what I was seeing. This place literally doesn't feel like it belongs on Earth! There's a bit of a mystic, eerie vibe when you walk around these tufa structures in the middle of the night. The place is dead silent with the exception of coyotes howling on occasion and other photographers yelling at you when you accidentally walk into their comp. Had a ton of fun shooting here with friends and watching the moon rise over a distant mountain! Tried some new processing on this image. This is a single 30 sec exposure at ISO 4000.
