Someone asked me if I have a rectangular version of the Manny Glacier shot --- Here it is my friends. I hope it is OK. 1:30AM in the morning --- the outside temperature dropped quickly --- Too exhausted from the previous hikes a day before, my stomach spoke up once in a few minutes. I understood it needed something to digest with --- unfortunately, I don't have anything at the moment to offer my poor friend. Well, water it was, and that was all I could offered. Humm.... Knocked down a bottle of water and thinking it was some kind of tasty soup my wife used to cook for me. While trying to convinced myself that I will have a not-so-friendly hike tomorrow, I forced my way to sleep under the thousand stars hotel with natural AC at full speed. A high-beam flash light shined to my face --- I knew not what the light was & I heard faint sound came from the outside. "Do you carry a gun?" --- My left eyes was still closed from the light beam and the other was barely opened to see what was going on. "Gun?" " What the hell? - What I'm going to do with a gun inside a national park?" -- I told myself so. Well... it turned out two armed rangers were standing outside my thousand stars hotel. I guess they asked me if I carry a hand gun as part of the protocol. Of course, I quickly showed them that I don't have that toy and I was here just to enjoy the wild nature. "Sir ... you can not camp here --- this is not a designated camping area." --- A warning it was - I guess I parked at the wrong open space area. I'm glad that this happened to me --- I now know the rangers do go around to keep the public safety inside Glacier National Park. Of course, I just had to relocate my hotel to an approved location. Needless to say ... two hours of sleep was all I had because I have to wake up around 4:30AM for the Sun rise image that you see right now. After all, it was just part of the fun --- "get out, be there, see the wild nature." I know some of my friends who read this .. and will look at me like a weirdo. "That is NOT fun." :) I guess fun is just a conception that might not be the same with each person. I would tell you without hesitation ... to get out from the city life, and see mother nature unfold ... is REALLY fun, one cannot buy that experience my friends. Thank you for your support and constructive comments in advance. via 500px http://ift.tt/1l1jyll
