I have just reworked this image for print and feel now that it is much stronger then my earlier, somewhat premature edit. This is from the world famous Bombo Quarry. It is one of the instantly identifiable seascapes from around the globe. Here I used a shutter of about 40 seconds to render the surging sea as mist and to draw some detail from the rising sun that was still over half an hour from rising.
