twister by ToddWall

Every Fall I would visit my Mom in the small Midwestern town where I grew up. On Sunday we would take a drive across the back roads. A big storm rolled in during our venture. What a gully washer. Just before sunset the sky cleared a bit and produced a lovely sunset. Mom pointed out this lone tree in a field. She told me it was the only one still standing in the path of a tornado that passed through some years back. I miss her. via 500px http://ift.tt/1nhTOvr
