Fjaðrárgljúfur - which I still can't pronounce, and neither can you - is a spot in Iceland I really, really wanted good conditions at. It's far and away one of the most unique and photogenic canyons I've ever visited and I simply was unwilling to walk away without some killer stuff. Unfortunately, as I did not have my official Alex Noriega Goat Sacrificing Kit™ to appease the weather gods with, I had to settle for less-than-killer stuff. Actually visited here twice - the first time with super harsh clear sky contrast that did no favors to the scene, and then when this one was taken about a week later, under threatening-to-rain conditions (but at least it didn't). All things considered I'm please with how this turned out, but this area is pretty much #1 on my to-do list whenever I can get to go back to Iceland. via 500px http://ift.tt/1qHqKop
