A lovely evening star gazing on the shoreline of Lake Louise in Banff National Park. During the day Lake Louise can be a bit of zoo, but at night the crowds are gone and you can actually hear the grown of the glaciers beyond. When I first arrived at the lake the clouds had moved in and I figured I would be out of luck getting any hint of stars, Still I stuck it out for a while and was eventually rewarded with a glimpse of the sky beyond. The light on the peaks is light pollution coming from the Chateau Lake Louise behind the camera. In this case the fill light was an added bonus. via 500px http://ift.tt/1wkJ898
