This is an image that I took over the summer in Jasper National Park. The hike in was long and muddy, but once I reached this valley I was truly stunned. I have seen images from here, but being there for myself was simply wonderful. The winners of this year's ANZANG photography contest were recently announced and my image "bird tree" was named runner-up for the monochrome category.
