After two previous attempts to visit this iconic slot canyon were aborted due to the high water in the canyon that precedes this section, I finally made it in. It was worth every single attempt, too. The Rayleigh scattering effect ( http://ift.tt/1oj5VQh ) that intensifies reflected blue light from the skies is best seen with the low angle sunlight in the late morning during early autumn and late spring.
