Almost at the end of this third trip to magnificent Iceland I finally got perfect conditions for northern lights hunting. So after dinner I went out to the Gullfoss parking first and noticed a weak aurora display. I therefore set up my equipment to shoot a time-lapse sequence and took shelter from the freezing cold in my welcoming warm rental car. After a good half hour the aurora started becoming stronger and dancing in the sky so I jumped out the car to try to shoot different angles. This shot is the last of the time-lapse sequence and it is probably my favorite of the entire aurora photo session at Gullfoss. The aurora in this particular moment looks like an heart coming from space in a beautiful message of love. via 500px http://ift.tt/1wJTjp4
