Mucho se ha escrito sobre los poderes mágicos, la energía o el magnetismo que desprende el islote de Es Vedrá, junto a la isla de Ibiza y a su hermano pequeño Es Vedranell. Muchos quizás la hayan visto en múltiples imágenes, siendo una de las más populares la que hacía de portada del disco Voyager de Mike Oldfield. Recuerdo que la primera vez que lo vi fue con mi padre, el mismo día que llegué a la isla. Desde entonces, fue el sitio de referencia obligado a la hora de llevar a cualquier visita. Hasta donde yo sé, no es posible visitar el islote sin el permiso adecuado, por lo que nunca he pisado Es Vedrá, pero sí la enorme cantidad de rincones que fui poco a poco descubriendo y desde los que se puede disfrutar de su vista. Algunas calas preciosas, antiguos embarcaderos, una torre vigía, una cantera olvidada, unas coloridas salinas, alguna cueva cada vez menos recóndita, un bosque de pinos.... todos ellos lugares únicos desde los que disfrutar de la visión de Es Vedrá. Ya fuera de caminata, saliendo a bucear, en kayak o simplemente sentándose tranquilamente a verse poner el sol, siempre fue para mí un espectáculo. Por lo que a mí se refiere, sí que tiene poderes magnéticos, al menos el poder de hacerme ir una y otra vez por sus alrededores :-) Esta foto tiene ya 5 años y mucho más valor sentimental que calidad técnica. Ya me hubiera gustado contar en aquella época con los conocimientos y el equipo que tengo hoy en día. Ya volveré :-) Allí en Ibiza había un nutrido grupo de aficionados a la fotografía, de mucho talento y cuyas imágenes me empujaron un poquito más hacía la fotografía de paisaje. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A lot has been written about the magic power, the energy or the magnetism coming from Es Vedrá island, close to Ibiza island and his little brother Es Vedranell. Many people has probably seen it in images. Very popular was the image that appeared in the Mike Oldfield's Voyager cover. I remember the first time i saw was the same day i arrived to the island. Since then, it was the must see place when coming any guest to the island. As far as i know, it is not possible to go to the island without a permission and i never have put a foot there. But anyway i could visit so many great places that i discovered with the pass of time; perfect places where one could enjoy the view. Some unique calas, old boathouses, a surveillance tower, a forgotten quarry, a colourful salt pan, some funny caves, a forest. It could be during a hike, going for swimming, in kayak or just sitting to enjoy a beautiful sunset was always an spectacle for me. Talking just about my case, i could say the the island has real magnetism, even being just the power of making me come back again and again. This image has already 5 years and i was into the photography jst for a few months. Its value is much more emotional than technical. I wish i had now the equipment and knowloedge i have by now.
