Viewing and capturing the features of the night sky in this region is truly a humbling experience. Thanks to the Maine Coast Heritage Trust, the Cutler Coast Public Reserved Land & the Bog Brook Preserve are part of the largest contiguous area of conservation land on the Maine coast outside of Acadia National Park. This image is a blend of two exposures, one for the sky and one for the foreground. Both shots were processed separately through Lightroom & Photoshop and then blended in PS.
