Winter Wonderland by Fine-Image-Photography

The first vestiges of pre-dawn light illuminate the Three Sisters in Central Oregon. The windchill was about -20F, but I was so excited at the scene before me that I shot for about 45 minutes without gloves because I didn't want to fudge a camera setting. Marc Adamus was standing right next to me laughing heartily in disbelief. He flourishes in the extreme cold, but even he thought I was overdoing it. I didn't care -- I live in Minnesota where -20F is called "Thursday". :) Taken about 5 years ago, but reprocessed with new found knowledge. Sick of winter already? There are still some spaces left for the upcoming Hawaii Photography Tour in Kauai led by myself and Aaron Feinberg. via 500px http://ift.tt/1AvEl4k
