In last fall, I made a backpacking trip to some remote region of Shangri La, China. I had been there three times now and I still love this region. It holds many potential that few able to discover and photograph. This was one of the dramatic moment I felt very lucky to capture. Weather is generally a mixed bag here in September, storm season just past, and is switching to dry season. I wanted to capture some different layers in this scene here.
