I finally got a website together with some of my favorite images. It was buried in snow the last 2 years when I visited the park. This year though, the conditions were ideal. To my surprise, there was a workshop at Triple Falls when I got there. So I had to wait for my turn to shoot it. Fine by me, since I got there late. I had the starburst shot in mind anyways, so I didn’t mind the wait. Problem was, the last guy in the workshop wouldn’t leave the spot, so, effectively, I couldn’t setup and get my shot. As the sun was coming up, the clouds overhead lit up red, and there were wild flowers everywhere too. The scene was absolutely gorgeous. Since I couldn’t get my shot, I hurried off to capture some wild flowers. My wife later told me that, as soon as I ran off, the guy that wouldn’t leave almost panicked, and quickly packed up, probably wondering what else could be so good to leave Triple Falls. Whatever the case, I quickly got a few dozen shots in, and with the spot open, I got setup and caught the sun burst at Triple Falls.
