"The Coronation" - Stetinden i Norge The weather forecast for the Stetinden region was undoubtedly risky. Northern Norway was stuck under a thick layer of clouds, and no one really knew if and when exactly it should clear up. For the Aurora Level 3 has been reported. But before we become deserted on Senja, we decided to do the five hour drive. You never know. If you don´t risk it you will not achieve it! Finally arrived, hours passed, during which I waded in rubber boots through the creek, looking for an appropriate perspective. It was already dark for a long time and the sky was still gray. Despite boots with fur lining and two pairs of socks - THX to Felix ;-) - I could barely feel my toes. Than it happened fast. The sky cleared up and the glimmering moon appeared. Few time later we were witness of this breathtaking natural phenomen over the Stetinden. There are not lots of photos like this out there and so I decided to call it "The Coronation". A lot of you guys are already waiting eagerly for this photo. I would be happy if you're surprised. I was overwhelmed by the sight. Prints and licensing available.
