Etched in Colour by everlookphotography

Whitecliff Waterfall New Zealand This is an attempt at shooting the wider scene from the bizarre whitecliff region on North Island's west coast near New Plymouth. The black sand beach all but disappears during high tide which makes this a claustrophobic place to shoot with no escape for hundreds of metres at a time. The image is a long exposure for the sky and a shorter foreground exposure and the colours of the cliff are pretty much as seen. I was experimenting with colours hoping to give the green more contrast by making the lit parts of the scene green's photoshop opposite (magenta).
