Tajinastes rojos al atardecer en el Parque Nacional del Teide . Tenerife . España . Tajinaste es el nombre genérico que se le da en las Islas Canarias a algunas especies, generalmente endémicas, del género Echium. El nombre proviene del idioma guanche, ( tainast, palabra femenina que significa 'aguja') y que perdura hasta nuestro tiempo. Hay gran variedad de tajinastes, El Tajinaste rojo.
