Upon returning to our camp in the Masai Mara, the sky turned a dark grey and announced an approaching storm. The change was abrupt. Now nearly black, the clouds roiled and large drops of rain began to fall. We turned around to see a moving stormfront that was now the backdrop to the sudden appearance of six silhouettes of topi. The antelopes moved toward us and I waited for the perfect composition. It was an almost unreal play of light and color, clouds and shapes: topis in front of falling rain as the setting sun backlights the entire scene in hues of orange, red and purple. via 500px http://ift.tt/1q7Z8Eu

9 of us early for this scene, during golden hour a china man tourist arrived and stood right in front of all of us shooting with ultra wide lenses. i tried to keep calm but he told my friend off that he had a cheap lens (10-22 on a 7D) when he said he could see him on the frame as it was an ultra wide. i stood in front of him and was seconds close to bashing his head in using his camera. anyway he backed off so end of story. what an attitude, he was late for sunrise, had no wide lens, no filters and I was looking at his lcds crap images. retard. via 500px http://ift.tt/1wQB0h5
