Cathedral Cove New Zealand On a peaceful morning I had to myself, I was reminded that sometimes your perception of a location can be altered by the frame of mind while visiting . In hindsight, I realise what a beautiful location it was but because I was focused on trying to photograph the area,with occasions of various frustrations occurring, i feel I did not enjoy the serenity of the scene as much as I could have. I didn't even want to look at the images taken on returning home! Sometimes I need to remind myself that the process of photography should be linked with the appreciation of simply being there and that the rush of producing images should not intervene. The lightroom photo walk of the area I have since explored has been a reminder what I should be doing on holiday and not what I ended up pressuring myself to do.
