This historic two-story brick building was built in 1904 by J.E. Sirrine as a paint shop for H.C. Markley’s Greenville Carriage Factory. However, the coming of the automobile brought down the production of wagons and carriages which forced Markley to sell the business in 1911. Mrs. Eugenia Duke of Greenville, SC bought it, and in 1925, the building became the first factory for the production of Duke’s Mayonnaise. This historic building is now famous for engagement and wedding shoots as well as receptions. Wishing everybody a great start of the week!
