Bleak by OleHenrikSkjelstad

I had this 5 framed series from the beginning of March I wanted to do something with. To make a long story short it ended up like this. via 500px http://ift.tt/1orA3HG

Water and Fire by OleHenrikSkjelstad

This is from last evening. Of the three exposures I shot with this comp one of them provided enough info to cover the entire dynamic range. In other words, no blending of exposures this time. The colors increased in intensity ten mins later but then I had left the premises driving our daughter to a friend of hers. The Tokina lens delivers the goods again. via 500px http://ift.tt/1mak0cj

A Question about Foregrounds by OleHenrikSkjelstad

I will never win a prize for creative foregrounds, and if this image doesn't receive any likes I will seriously contemplate ordering "A Comprehensive Introduction to Foregrounds" ;) Hopefully the colors which I am not responsible for will compensate for this. The Lee Little Stopper (6 stops) made it possible to shoot a LE these last minutes of colors when the light was pretty low. via 500px http://ift.tt/1gkNWob

Diving by OleHenrikSkjelstad

15 mins before this image was shot I somehow managed to drop my Big Stopper, my 0.9 soft and their filter holder into the lake. I tried to jump after my jewels but the water was too cold, too dark and it was too deep - approx 2 meters. Right there and then I hated my life. Of course the colors went crazy after I had drowned my Big Stopper. The next day I purchased swimming goggles, went to the lake and dived for my filters. I succeeded at my second attempt. Two weeks earlier the lake was still covered with a thin layer of ice so the water was pretty cold, to put it like that. I was hoping the clouds would close the gap around the cabin, but that "circle" of yellow is kinda cool. via 500px http://ift.tt/1j41ovH
