Forest cascades by everlookphotography
Purakaunui Falls New Zealand This spot is about 5 minutes upstream from Purakaunui falls. I thought I'd take a dip but the water was deceptively deep getting here lol. The falls walk reminds me alot of the walk to Liffey falls in Tasmania and the falls themselves are quite comparable. It's almost like a piece of New Zealand and Tassie replicated themselves a few thousand kilometers apart. [Deviant Art Gallery] [Facebook] [Web Gallery] [Flickr] [G+] via 500px http://ift.tt/1ksWVnn
oh my gush (ponytail falls, columbia river gorge) by maxvuong
Posted a few days ago on my facebook First time in the PNW and I had a blast. I didn't come away with much but I got to spend time with some awesome people. Thanks for letting me hang with ya'll. And a huge thanks for the hospitality and for letting me crash at your pad. Oh, and it wasn't poison oak. Just a water rash from swimming in my waders all day :) via 500px http://ift.tt/1iQgnWU

Water and Fire by OleHenrikSkjelstad
This is from last evening. Of the three exposures I shot with this comp one of them provided enough info to cover the entire dynamic range. In other words, no blending of exposures this time. The colors increased in intensity ten mins later but then I had left the premises driving our daughter to a friend of hers. The Tokina lens delivers the goods again. via 500px http://ift.tt/1mak0cj

Palouse Falls Sunrise by ParchenPhotography
Facebook page for updates Website for full portfolio It's hard to believe that this scene is nestled in the middle of nowhere, Washington, but what a sight it is! I got zereod on the sunset the night before but the sunrise more than made up for the four hour drive from Seattle. These 200-foot falls are a must see if you happen to be in the area, enjoy! Oneonta Falls by mattk
This photo is from Oneonta Falls just outside of Portland, Oregon. Oneonta has been on my photography bucket-list for years, and I finally got the chance to visit. The weather was beautiful (although the water was a bit cold) and we were treated to some light rays coming across the falls at just the right time. I wrote a full story about my trip, along with some other photos over on my blog at: www.mattk.com via 500px http://ift.tt/1vaUwSL

Prowling Panther by MajeedBadizadegan
website [lots of updates, check it out!!] || facebook Best viewed on black. First start off with some thank you's. Thanks to Ryan Dyar for putting out a great "Painting with Light" video. Some techniques were used in this image, and he has some great tips, found here: http://ift.tt/1hEK8JF. Thanks Ted Gore for the location inspiration. This is the second time I'd been to Panther Creek Falls in Washington. I was kind of bored shooting comps at the first drop where the water converges. I loved the challenge of crossing this stream waist-high to get an interesting perspective on this fall. I did a ninja like move to duck under a log, and all kinds of crazy stuff. My boots were filled with water and I was completely immersed in the landscape. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for looking! via 500px http://ift.tt/1g8roaE
Waterfall Dreamscape by AaronGroen
"Waterfall Dreamscape" This dreamscape is a composite of two shots one from the split rock pics the other night , this one I never used because the colors had pretty much left the sky just after dusk but I had finally found the composition I was looking for... figures right as soon as the sunset is over. So I figured why not use it here 4 seconds f/22 100iso. The second shot for the milky way comes from another time close to this location near Garretson, South Dakota 25 seconds f/2.8 3200. http://ift.tt/12PMe6X http://ift.tt/17rcAiv Prints - http://ift.tt/19E8gvs via 500px http://ift.tt/1mKjQsT
