Mirror by nature by WBE

Another sunset shot captured near Stokksnes, Iceland, this one with a reflection caused by a thin film of water on top of the black lava sand. This is actually a panorama of 6 vertical shots producing an image of about 100 MP via 500px http://ift.tt/1jOOtKk

Song Of The Sea by EliaLocardi

An phenomenal sunset in Vernazza, Cinque Terre Italy - one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world... One of my favorite things about traveling is getting to experience, what I like to call, "the moment of discovery." It’s that special moment in time that can overwhelm the senses and generate palpable feelings of awe and wonder as a breathtaking scene unfolds before your eyes. In that singular moment, everything you’ve hoped to experience and see in a specific place is perfectly represented and frozen in front of you. The air, the sound, the colors, everything seems to coalesce into pure visual harmony. You’ll know you’ve reached it when the only word that comes to mind is wow… As a travel photographer, it's those moments of discovery that I’m constantly seeking. It’s also the reason that certain countries and regions, like Italy and Cinque Terre, capture my focus and attention again and again. For me, places like Vernazza represent a harmonious balance between humanity, nature, and the unpredictable aspects of a sometimes turbulent sea. There are few places in the world that can speak directly to my heart and to be honest, Italy houses many of them. http://ift.tt/Z3lOOe via 500px http://ift.tt/1ihAWyF

Natural Bromo Stage by sadagus

I am very curious about the results of shooting at Mount Bromo last year. I always keep some files Bromo shooting photos in my computer and often try to manage it for the best end result. I think this is the best result I can though more than a hundred of my shooting Mount Bromo last year. Happy shooting, Sad Agus Photography©, Copyright 2014. via 500px http://ift.tt/1iCeWjo

Queen Mary 2 Docked by Linz550

This thing wasn't meant to be docked until around 6am and this image was taken at 5:13am. I wanted tug boat action! Moral of the story. Get there well before the advertised time and preferably before blue hour! Portfolio | Sets | Google + | FB via 500px http://ift.tt/S9hYAT

something good by JayDaley

http://ift.tt/1pPDAkt http://ift.tt/1j9IPX1 I am really happy to be getting back out with the camera more. I love the things that it brings, the experiences and the moments and this was one of them. We were completely alone, in a field in country NSW and it was a glorious afternoon. The sun was setting and throwing a magnificent light across the open plains in front of us and with a few drinks in hand we got to work with the camera's and took it all in. I'm still at a loss as to why exactly this location was chosen for the filming of the barn scene in Superman Returns but on that afternoon, in good company with that warm autumn setting sun I wasn't complaining. As always, thanks for looking! via 500px http://ift.tt/QYzpDf
