Posted a few days ago on my facebook First time in the PNW and I had a blast. I didn't come away with much but I got to spend time with some awesome people. Thanks for letting me hang with ya'll. And a huge thanks for the hospitality and for letting me crash at your pad. Oh, and it wasn't poison oak. Just a water rash from swimming in my waders all day :) via 500px http://ift.tt/1iQgnWU

A Colorado Sunset by MikeOlbinski

A stunning sunset along Interstate 70 near the border of Colorado and Kansas. A line of thunderstorms racing away makes for some beautiful skies at the end of a long day storm chasing. via 500px http://ift.tt/1nBtbWe

Monsoon by juliemayfeng

India, Kolkata, Monsoon Rain makes everything so dramatic. Even though it's uncomfortable to take photographs in bad weather, it gives us a good opportunity to capture the different moments. During the monsoon season, weather is extremely hard to predict. At the time, I was eating lunch at a street café. Suddenly it started to shower. I borrowed an umbrella from a stranger and ran out into the street. Although I was wet through and through, I was able to capture this fantastic monsoon scene. via 500px http://ift.tt/1nbaRpj

Rockleigh Rain by RyanBrenizer

The first time I shot at the Rockleigh Country Club, it was just 36 hours after Hurricane Sandy destroyed the region. This time, during the reception everyone's phones started clanging with flash flood warnings. So our reaction? Let's go out in it! Thanks to the Michelle and Michael's willingness, an intrepid Tatiana assisting, a helpful wedding guest, and four umbrellas, we made this shot work in the driving rain. via 500px http://ift.tt/1ndTb7Z

Real Creeks Have Curves by alexnoriega

Light filters through the canopy of Gorton Creek during a break in the rain, in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge. Met up with some dope dawgs (Bollino, Mody, Rossbach, and Van Breugel) and had a chill Sunday of huevos rancheros, naps, and green shooting. Sorry for the re-upload here, my contacts were messed up last night and I was squinting through calcium deposits (maybe I should stop wearing my weeklies for 3 months) - didn't see some clarity/sharpening/diffusion issues with the original. FYI, I teach my processing workflow over Skype!
